CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for wintry weather today.
“Sunday night into Monday morning will be the focus for wintry weather impacts as cold air pushes into Middle Tennessee Sunday evening. Starting as rain for everyone…a change over from rain to snow will occur from east to west overnight Sunday into Monday morning.”
NWS also said that there is a potential for one to two inches of snow accumulation north of I-40 and west of I-65 by Monday morning.
The NWS advises drivers to stay aware of the weather as it may cause issues with the morning commute.
