Wind advisory in effect until 7 p.m. in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a wind advisory in effect until 7 p.m. for Middle Tennessee, including Montgomery County.

Wind speeds will increase throughout the day, with gusts at or above 35 miles per hour.

Large vehicles may experience more difficult driving conditions, and loose objects may be blown around. Drivers are asked to exercise caution.

Air pressure, humidity, and wind speeds will also make conditions favorable for the rapid spread of fires in the area. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
