Wind Advisory in effect until 6:00 Tuesday evening

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) A wind advisory is in effect for Middle Tennessee through 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Winds from 15 to 25 mph are expected with wind gusts up to 45 mph.

Areas around Clarksville and Dickson can expect winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

Shallow-rooted trees, tree limbs, and power lines may be blown down with scattered power outages possible.

Loose outdoor objects will also be blown around.

Scattered showers are expected throughout the day Tuesday with a high of 59 degrees and a low of 49.

Rain es expected through the rest of the week.
