Mr. Willis T. Castile, age 93 passed away March 18, 2021, at his residence. He was born February 18, 1928, to the late Alexander and Bessie Land Castile.
Mr. Castile was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving from August 8, 1945, to September 28, 1949. Among the medals he received, he was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received in combat in the South Pacific during WWII.
He followed God’s calling and served as a minister of the Apostolic Faith for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Rebecca Castile, son, Marvin Dell Castile, and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Castile; sons, Ronnie Castile (Debra); daughter, Janie Ford (Carl Wayne); step-daughters, Sheila Huff (Bobby), Christy Voigt, Kayla Smith (Tyler); three grandchildren, Tony Heth, Christi Geggus, Robert Castile; six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; six step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 21, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the hour of the service at 2:30 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Young and Pastor Larry Depriest officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, TN.
