William “Tito” Pereira-Cruz, age 66 of Clarksville, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2021 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital.

Tito was born October 31, 1954, in Añasco, Puerto Rico, to Tomás Pereira and the late Juanita Cruz.

Pereira-Cruz was retired from the US Army. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was the life of the party and lived life to the fullest.

Tito was someone to look up to and was a great man. His favorite movie was Back to the Future, and he loved lobster, Burger King and old cars.

In addition to his father, Tito is survived by his wife, Dora Celia Yañez; three sons, Ernesto (Laura) Escudero, Alejandro Escudero and Daniel Escudero; daughter, Lara (Javon) White; two stepchildren, Mayra Nineth Sanchez and Byron Sanchez; three brothers, Heriberto Pereira, Thomas Pereira and Jaime Pereira; 11 grandchildren, Darren Robles, Ernie Escudero IV, Nicholas Escudero, Anthony Escudero, Issac Escudero, Alex Anthony Saiz, Xitlalli True, Daniel Escudero II, Javon Anthony White, Jr., Araceli White, Beya White and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, June 11, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mosaic Church, 1020 Garrettsburg Road, Clarksville, TN 37042. A celebration of life service is at 11 a.m. at the church with Heriberto Pereira officiating. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West at 2 p.m.
