William Maloy Rushing, 70, of Concord, AR, died on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at his residence. He was born on September 20, 1942 in Memphis, TN to the late Joseph Maloy Rushing and Kathleen McGowan Rushing.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Brother Terry Bear officiating. Burial will be in McDonald Cemetery in Tennessee Ridge, TN. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and Friday, June 7, 2013 from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
William was a receiving clerk with Jay Garment Co.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Rushing of Concord, AR; son, Mark (Lynn) Rushing of Clarksville, TN; two step-sons, Ricky Mealler of Concord, AR and Tommy (Shannon) Mealler of Clarendon, AR; step-daughter, Becky (Stanley) Russell of Concord, AR; brother, Allen Chick (Clara) Rushing of Cunningham, TN; sister, Helen Rushing (Morris) Wall of Clarksville, TN; and nine grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Phipps, Allen Kent Rushing, Chris Bohanon, Tony Jerles, Joshua Jerles, Richard Butzin, and Matt Young.
