William H. Graham, 76, of Clarksville, TN passed away April 27, 2023, at Tennova healthcare after a short illness to his heavenly home.
He was born September 23, 1946, in Beckley, WV to Vivian and Paris Graham.
He was a disabled Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Air Force as a fuel specialist. He worked in the coal mines in WVA for many years. After moving to Tennessee, he worked for State Industries and AO Smith water heater companies in Ashland City, TN retiring after 23 years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vivian Louise Graham and Paris Harrison Graham, a sister Diannia Lynn Halsey, brother Jeffery Jackson Graham and granddaughter Alexis Sylvia Jean Jones. He is survived by the love of his life of 30 years, Lou Anna Reed Graham, daughter Shayla Lynn Jones and husband John of Groves, Texas, stepson, Terry Shumate and his wife, Brenda of Pineville, WV; grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kaitlyn Jones and Michaela Shumate; brother, Robert Graham and his wife, Mae of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Vivian Massie and Barbara Graham of Pier Point WV and a host of family and friends.
Bill enjoyed watching sports and news programs. He loved solving Sudoku puzzles and reading the newspaper daily. Bill attended the First United Methodist church in Clarksville, TN for many years where he enjoyed the services and being with his church family.
As Bill requested there will be no funeral or visitation. A memorable service is being planned at a later date.
