A Celebration of Life service for William “Donald” Davidson, age 85, will be Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
Donald was born on July 20, 1939, in Clarksville, TN, to William and Deula Davidson. He passed away on November 28, 2024. Donald retired from Civil Services after 30 years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed coaching Little League baseball and Jr.Pro football. Most of all, he loved Beagling and field trials. Donald even bred the Purina Dog of the Year in the 1980’s.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Grace Ransdell Davidson and brother, James’s “Jimmy” Davidson. He is survived by his sons, Scott (Debbie) Davidson and John (Jessica) Davidson; grandchildren: Corey Davidson, Kayla Davidson, Michael Davidson, and Turner Davidson; and companion, Becky Welch.
