William “Blake” Thomason, 94, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Walking Horse Meadows Assisted Living.
Blake was born on November 24, 1921, in Dickson, TN to the late I.N. Thomason and Minnie Shelton Thomason. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Opal W. Thomason.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Greg Glover officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, January 12, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Blake retired from CEMC after 43 years of service. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Blake is survived by three sons, John (Elizabeth) Thomason, Terry (Lorna) Thomason, and Len (Lea) Thomason; daughter, Susan Lowry; twelve grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
