Wiley Walter “Bill” Williams, Jr., age 85, of Clarksville, died Thursday, November 21, 2013 at his home.

He was born in Bremerton, WA, to the late Wiley Williams, Sr. and Mary Fetesoff Williams. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Christine Langford Williams, who died in 1971, his son, Wiley Walter Williams, III, and a grandson, Pastor Aaron M. Griffith.

Bill was a retired CW2 of the US Army and a member of First Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 24 at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. John Laida and Bro. Eli Fields officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday, November 23, and Sunday from 11:30 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

Military personnel will serve as pallbearers, with full military honors to be held. Honorary pallbearers will be the Langford Family, in memory of his late wife, Lois Christine Langford Williams.

Bill is survived by Iona Milburn Williams, his loving wife of 38 years; two daughters, Linda Sue (Calvin) Williams Fields and Sandra Lynne Williams Nevin; three daughters in love, Marilyn (Randy) Gratz, Lou Crutcher, and Anita (Tyrone) Crutcher Luna; three sons in love, David Milburn (Glenda) Crutcher, James Robert Crutcher, and Roger Mark (Carlene) Crutcher; one sister, Fran Jodka; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren, and two more expected.
