CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A couple of Hotdoggers were in town this week at the Kroger on Dover Crossing. Hotdoggers are the folks who travel the country in the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

“We are just trying to make people smile,” said Wienermobile driver Brandon Mazzaferro, who goes by the professional name of Bun Man Bran. “We go all around the country stopping in a different city every week and try to make people smile with this goofy hot dog car.”

The Wienermobile has been around since 1936, and it was invented during the Depression as a way to cheer people up. There are six Wienermobiles in existence, and they each cover a different region of the nation.
