CLARKSVILLE, TN – Did you do a live tree this year? Let’s give it a good second life by dropping it off free of charge with the city or county for mulching in local parks.
Please ensure that all decorations, lights, stands, artificial snow, tinsel and other items are removed, with the tree left unbagged. Wreaths can also be dropped off, as long as all metal backing is removed.
Heritage Park
City of Clarksville residents can drop off their trees during Heritage Park hours, dawn until dusk, through Monday, Jan. 8, according to a news release.
Trees should be left in the designated taped-off area of Heritage Park’s soccer parking area. The trees will be chipped on-site to be used as mulch for landscaping and trails.
