CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – To help Clarksville citizens make an educated choice in the Nov. 3 election, Clarksville Now is doing a series of reports on the City Council races.

First, we gathered information about the candidates, collected their photos, and asked them why they’re running for office: Here’s who’s running for City Council in Clarksville.

Now we’re interviewing all the candidates about where they stand on three key issues: growth, traffic and crime.

Running in Ward 12 are six candidates: Trisha Butler, Jon Lockwood, Joe Shakeenab, Guy Stanford, Adam Walker and David Webb. All of them took part in a Clarksville’s Conversation interview with Katie Gambill, Chris Smith and Charlie Koon.

The winner will replace Councilman Jeff Burkhart.
