Sharply colder temperatures are forecast for Monday. “Brisk northwest winds accompanying the cold temperatures will feel quite miserable,” the NWS said.

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Though the roads were more wet with rain than slick with ice in Clarksville Sunday morning, the Winter Weather Advisory continues through noon.

A Wind Advisory will go into effect this afternoon, with wind gusts between 40-45 mph possible, according to the National Weather Service. Residents should secure any loose outdoor items.

Rain is expected to continue Sunday and Sunday night. There is a chance it could transition to snow Monday morning.
