CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) West Creek High wide receiver and safety Jalen Tate won three trophies at the inaugural ESPN Clarksville awards. The awards are: Best Offensive Player, Best Defensive Player and Overall Athlete.
The awards were announced April 15, 2017 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center in Clarksville.
“Jalen’s skill and initiative shows a lot of promise beyond high school and we’ll be watching him as pursues his dream of playing college ball,” ESPN Clarksville’s Scott Chase said.
Tate is also a member of the West Creek track team where he competes in the long jump and high jump.
He plans to study criminal justice in college and play either football or track.
