CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Northwest scored first in the game.  Roberts Baker caught a 55 yard touchdown pass from Hunter Silverstrim to take the lead 7-0.

In the 2nd quarter, Dewayne Merriweather scores on a run to put West Creek on the board 6-7.

After the kickoff and getting stopped deep in their territory West Creek’s Elijah Grant tackles Shatar McClay in the end-zone for a safety. West Creek had an 8-7 lead at halftime.

At the start of the 3rd quarter, West Creek fumbles the kick-off and Shatar McClay picks it up and runs it in for a touchdown and with a two-point conversion Northwest leads 15-7.

Silverstrim connected to Baker again for a 60 yard touchdown to bring the score to 22-7.

Merriweather answers back for West Creek with a rushing touchdown. West Creek shortens the lead to 22-14.

In the 4th quarter, West Creeks’ defense shuts down Northwest. The Coyotes drive down the field and score a touchdown and they get a two-point conversion to tie the game at 22-22.

The Coyotes’ defense holds Northwest and they have to punt the ball. West Creek is diving down the field, looking to win the game. Shatar McClay gets his 2nd interception of the game to take the game into overtime.

In the first overtime, Northwest had the ball first. West Creeks’ defense kept the Viking out of the end-zone. The Coyotes had the chance to win the game with a field goal and it went wide left.

The game goes into double overtime. West Creek has the ball first and scores fast on a Merriweather rush up the middle and with a two-point conversion the Coyotes take the lead 30-22.

The West Creek defense holds strong. On 4th down, the Coyotes sack Silverstrim for the win.
