CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The fatal shooting on West Creek Drive this week happened amid an argument between the victim and his wife, according to an arrest warrant.

At around 2 p.m. Dec. 16, Clarksville Police responded to the shooting off Peterson Lane in St. Bethlehem and found 20-year-old Nathan Rodriguez standing outside. He identified himself as the shooter, the warrant said.

Inside the home, police found 45-year-old Clint Hart with multiple gunshot wounds. Hart was transported to the hospital and died a short time later.

According to the warrant, a video by a witness shows Hart arguing with his wife when several gunshots are heard, and Hart appears to be shot. Hart’s wife then enters a bedroom and asks, “Where’s the gun?” Rodriguez can be seen in the room extremely emotional.

Upon his arrest, Rodriguez admitted that he shot Hart multiple times, the warrant states. Rodriguez, who is unemployed and was living in the home, has been charged with first-degree murder.
