Wendell “Dale” Joiner, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, surrounded by loved ones. Graveside service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, at 12:30 PM at Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery. He was born on March 3, 1944, in Montgomery County, TN to Odell and Opal Landrum Joiner. Dale and his wife, Shirley were 1963 graduates from Clarksville High School. He retired as Assistant Chief after 35 years of service with the Clarksville Fire Department. Dale enjoyed going to the lake, boating, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Joiner, and sister, Sue Pryor. Dale is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley Joiner; daughters, Denise Joiner and Dawn (Darian) Castleberry; sisters, Freda Sizemore and Reda Lollar; and grandchildren, Drake and Emery Castleberry.
