Update, 8:23 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for northern Montgomery County until 9 p.m.

At 8:21, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fort Campbell, moving southeast at 30 mph with possible 60 mph wind gusts.

“For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building,” the NWS said.

Update, 7:24 p.m.: Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Oak Grove to Adairville, Kentucky. Movement was southeast at 20 mph with possible wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

Update, 6:35 p.m.: A strong thunderstorm was moving east toward Clarksville at about 6:30 p.m.

At 6:27 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Big Rock, or 10 miles northeast of Dover, moving east at 15 mph with possible wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

“Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects,” the NWS said. “Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.”
