CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Showers and a few thunderstorms will move through Friday ahead of a strong cold front that will send temperatures tumbling by Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs near 70 on Friday will fall to the 40s by the end of the weekend, with lows dipping into the mid-20s Sunday night.

  • Saturday night: A 40 percent chance of showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 41. South wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.
