Update, 1:35 p.m.: Due to forecasted wintry weather and below freezing temperatures, Manna Cafe will open its Warming Center at 503 D Street this weekend. “People needing shelter are encouraged to come in and enjoy a hot meal and a warm place to sleep,” said Manna’s Debra Sutton. Check-in is at 4 p.m., and check-out at 10 a.m.
There is a chance of a rain and snow mix late Friday, but no accumulation is expected.
