Update, 1:52 p.m.: A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued in Kentucky for southwestern Christian County and southeastern Trigg County until 2:30 p.m.

Update, 1:35 p.m.: A strong thunderstorm has been spotted near Paris Landing moving east toward Clarksville.

At 1:34 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles north of Paris Landing State Park, moving east at 50 mph with wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel-size hail. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
