CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There is a chance of ice and snow this weekend as cold temperatures move in, leading to rain or freezing rain, according to the National Weather Service.
Sunday brings a wintry mix starting that morning that will transition to freezing rain, then to rain by Sunday afternoon, then finally to light snow Monday, the NWS said. Accumulations of snow and ice are still uncertain.

Highs will be in the upper 30s with lows reaching the 20s overnight throughout the weekend.

- Friday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 41. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
- Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 22. Northwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
- Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 37. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph.
- Saturday night: A chance of freezing rain after midnight, mixing with snow after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
- Sunday: Rain or freezing rain, becoming all rain after noon. High near 47. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
- Sunday night: Rain showers before midnight, then a chance of rain and snow showers. Low around 25. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
