CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We have some big events happening this weekend, including the Women’s Expo and two fun features for your four-legged friends.
Women of Clarksville Expo 2022: Grab your girlfriends, mothers and daughters and attend for this free event, with clothes, cooking and yoga, plus several food trucks. The expo will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champion’s Way. Shuttles will transport attendees to and from parking at the CMCSS Central Services South building, 1312 Highway 48.
Barks & Brews: Enjoy dog and beer-related activities, including an owner/dog lookalike contest, costume contest, live music, pet-friendly vendors, freshly crafted brews from local breweries, and a live meet and greet with animals from Caledonia Forest. The event, which raises funds for animal friendly charities, will be Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at Goobs Small Business Warehouse, 260 B Needmore Road. Tickets are $12, with those under 21 free.
Fun with Fido: Treat your pup to a day out featuring a doggie photo booth, dog-related vendors, games and giveaways from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday during the Clarksville Downtown Market at 1 Public Square.
Downtown Commons Movie Nights: “Zootopia” will be the featured film this week at Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St.. The free movie event will be 7:30-9 p.m. Saturday.
