CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This weekend is full of live events for the whole family.
Downtown @ Sundown: On Friday, get ready for another night of free music and entertainment from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Beer and other beverages will be for sale with proceeds benefiting their featured non-profit, United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region. A variety of independent food trucks will line up on Main Street. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, or outside alcohol will not be allowed on site. Emmalee and Nightmasters will be playing at the Downtown Commons.
Music and Food Trucks at Beachaven: On Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. On Saturday, there will be music from Chris Crow, and on Sunday, Brittany Hadley will be playing, and of course, there will be a variety of food trucks there.
Downtown Market: The Downtown Market is back, and after a successful first week, there will be more to come this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Public Square.
Movies in the Park: Enjoy free movies under the stars. Each movie will host pre-show activities a few hours before the movie begins. This Saturday, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” will be playing at Heritage Park starting at 6 p.m. and lasting until 10 p.m.
Sexual Assault Empowerment Walk: From 9a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Liberty Park, there will be a sexual assault empowerment walk. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the walk begins at 10 a.m. This event will support survivors of sexual assault, and mental health awareness.
