CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This is tax-free weekend, so when you’re done with back-to-school shopping, go have some fun at one of these events.

Summer at Beachaven: Tiffany Turner will be performing, and Tater Headz food truck on site Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at Beachaven Vineyards and Winery, 1100 Dunlop Lane. The event is free. Bring a blanket and lawn chair, and enjoy wines for sale from Beachaven.

“Stand by Me” at The Roxy: On Saturday, you can go see “Stand by Me” at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. The movie starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

“The Parent Trap” at Downtown Commons: Downtown Commons is excited to show “The Parent Trap” for a family fun night in downtown Clarksville on Saturday. A mobile art studio will be set up with ArtLink for hands-on activities for kids and food trucks on Main Street for treats for everyone. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping, or outside alcohol will not be allowed on site. Movies will begin at 7:30 p.m. and don’t worry, Tennessee Kettle Corn will be there with popcorn.

The Brewery Comedy Tour: Come by the Tennessee Valley Brewing Company and enjoy a comedy show. Tickets are $18, and the seating is limited.
