CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Take the family out this weekend or enjoy a night downtown with several choices this week in Clarksville.
Spring Awakening at the Roxy: Visit the Roxy regional theatre at 100 Franklin St, to enjoy a hit rock ‘n’ roll musical that explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood in 1891 Germany. Tickets will be $35 at the door, by calling 931-645-7699, or by visiting www.roxyregionaltheatre.org. This is the final weekend for the show, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday. This show is recommended for mature audiences only.
Month of the Military Child Carnival: A military family event that will have a bouncy house, basketball with APSU athletes, a dunking booth, an ice cream truck, a magic show, axe-throwing, plus hot dogs and burgers. The free party starts at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 22 until 2 p.m. at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Centerstone, 775 Weatherly Drive.
Haven Madison ‘American Idol’ Watch Party: Join in with Q108 hosts to watch Clarksville’s Haven Madison on American Idol, in a free watch party at City Forum. The party is Sunday from 6-9 p.m. with prizes and a chance to show your support for Haven.
Laugh to Support Mental Health: Customs House Museum and Cultural Center, 200 Second St. will be holding a comedy and entertainment event that will be donating all proceeds to mental health awareness and providing free access to community mental health programs. The fun begins at 7 p.m. Saturday April 22, and will go until 10 p.m. Tickets are $30.
