CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – As we march toward the holidays, you can watch the Lighted Christmas parade, have fun at Spiritfest, and watch the “Polar Express” this weekend.

SpiritFest: Sponsored by First Presbyterian Church and Trinity Episcopal Church, SpiritFest starts at 2:30 p.m. Saturday while guests wait for the Lighted Christmas Parade to begin at 5 p.m. There will be inflatables, Santa, live music, an artists’ sale, free dessert and hot chocolate, food trucks and a live Nativity with a camel. The event will be held at the Downtown Commons at 215 Legion St. with no cost to participate.

Lighted Christmas Parade: The City of Clarksville and Montgomery County present the annual Lighted Christmas Parade, where local businesses, civic organizations and clubs, school groups, municipal agencies, non-profits, and church groups deck out a float or vehicle to spread the holiday cheer. The parade is free to watch and lasts from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday. The route begins at Austin Peay State University and goes through downtown.
