CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Halloween fun is starting this weekend, with the opening of Rocky Horror, plus a cemetery tour.

Rocky Horror Show:  A loving homage to cult-classic, sci-fi film and horror genres with an irresistible rock ‘n’ roll score, “The Rocky Horror Show” is back at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. Tickets are $35, adults only. Shows will be Oct. 13-29 on Thursdays at 7 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.

Historic Greenwood Cemetery Walking Tour: The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center is hosting a historic walking tour of Greenwood Cemetery, one of Clarksville’s oldest active cemeteries. Be at the cemetery by 9 a.m. Saturday, or arrive up to 30 minutes early. Tickets are available in Seasons: The Museum Store ranging from $15 to $20 and must be purchased in advance. Space is limited.

Clarksville’s Power of Words: J.A.K. Danger works in conjunction with The Good People Lounge to present the Power of Words, co-hosted by Komplex Simplicity and S.U.G. It will be an open-mic event showcasing poetry, singing and other performing arts. 1018 Franklin St. from 7-10 p.m. on Friday. Tickets can be bought online or at the door for $10.

Freedom Fund Banquet: The Clarksville-Montgomery County Branch #5582 of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will hold its 66th annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. The banquet is held at 1312 Highway 48/13 in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System South Complex. Tickets are $65 per person. Contact Jimmie Garland for tickets by calling 931-216-6745.

Louisiana Saturday Night: Join Loaves & Fishes for authentic Cajun cuisine. They will have a drive through meal pick up, indoor and outdoor dining while music from the Delta. Tickets are $20 per person and include chicken and sausage gumbo, rice, bread, coleslaw, pralines and a surprise for dessert. It’s Saturday from 4:30-7 p.m. at 825 Crossland Ave.
