CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It’s Riverfest weekend! But there’s also the F2Con, Dueling Pianos and Sloshed-Speare. Here’s what’s up this weekend.
Riverfest: The final big annual free community festival with live music, a kids zone, regatta and more will be Saturday, Sept. 9-Sunday, Sept. 10 at McGregor Park on Riverside Drive. Hours on Saturday will be 11 a.m.-11:30 p.m., and Sunday will be 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
F2Con: Gaming on a Gig: F2Con, powered by CDE Lightband, is two days of intense competition, casual gaming, and fun for the family. $10,000 in tournament prizes in play. The event will be 3-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8; and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Wilma Rudolph Event Center. It’s free to attend; prices vary to play. See details and register at this site.
Dueling Pianos: It’s a dueling night of free sing-alongs and entertainment. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs to Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St., 7-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8
Sloshed-Speare: A Comedy of Errors: A fresh and modern-ish take on the works of the literary lush himself, William Shakespeare, this will include some adult beverages thrown in. The performance will be 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. Tickets are $5.
