CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There’s a lot of Christmas fun on the calendar this weekend. Here are a few you won’t want to miss.
Photos with Santa: Have a photo taken with Santa. There will also be an opportunity to write Santa a letter and send it to the North Pole. The free event will be at the Wade Bourne Nature Center, 2308 Rotary Park Drive from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
Illuminating Dog Hill Historic District: Join the residents of the Dog Hill as they light up the night with luminarias and decorated homes from 5-8 p.m. Saturday. Parking is available at the corner of Union and South Second Street. (Rain date: Sunday, Dec. 18.)
Irving Berlin’s White Christmas: This musical adaptation of the 1954 film featuring standards such as “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano” and “How Deep Is the Ocean” is presented Nov. 24-Dec. 23 on Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. Tickets are $35 (adults) and $15 (10 and under). Greenwood Cemetery Wreaths Across America: The ceremony, at 9 a.m. Saturday, will be officiated by Fort Campbell Chaplain Shane Crawford, with a Color Guard presenting the wreaths for the eight services. The Boy Scouts will be playing taps. The cemetery is at 976 Greenwood Ave.
