CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Halloween spirit is rising in Clarksville with spooky events, cosplay and fall festivals planned this weekend.
ClarksvilleCon ComiCon: Bring family and friend to this Clarksville convention and enjoy comic books, toys, cosplay contest, sports cards, Super Smash Bros tournament, guest speakers and panels. Clarksville ComiCon is from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday at the Quality Inn at Exit 4. Tickets are $20 for ages 11 and up, and younger children must be paired with an adult to enter free. It is one child per adult.
Downtown @ Sundown: Free music will be provided by Rock United at the Downtown @ Sundown event from 7-10 p.m. this Friday. The Downtown Commons are located at 215 Legion St. Food trucks will also be present.
Beer N Braut 5K: This 5k fundraiser is for Chapter 38 Special Forces Association and the Nightstalker Association. The run begins at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Star-Spangled Brewing Co. on 103 Progress Drive. Runners must pay a $50 entrance fee that will include a T-shirt, cup (filled twice with beer) and bratwurst. The event is free to spectators, and food trucks are on site.
Lantern Hike: The topic for this hike will be the History of Halloween. The hour-long hike will start on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Rotary Park at 2308 Rotary Park Drive. The trail difficulty level is rated moderate, please use your best judgment when registering. There is no fee to join.
Monster Mash at Revel House: It is the fourth annual Monster Mash at the Revel House, filled with live music, signature cocktails, costume contests, and more. music artists include Cody Brooks, Lillicat, Ivey, and Wynton Existing. The event is Saturday from 7 p.m. until midnight at Revel House Pub and Eatery, 140 University Ave. Tickets are $10.
