CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The weather will be beautiful in the earlier half of this weekend, so go out and enjoy it with these events.
Macrame Workshop: On Friday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., go by ArtLink and learn how to create your own macrame piece. These are timeless beauties that are sure to make any wall beautiful. The event cost is $36. Space is limited.
Parents Night Out: From 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, parents can have a fun night out and drop off their kids at Nailed It D.I.Y, where kids can explore their creativity with different art projects. Kids will need to wear suitable clothes for crafting. A light snack and drink will be provided.
Clarksville Ukraine Rally: On Friday starting at 4:30 p.m. on the corner of Wilma Rudolph and Needmore Road, people of Clarksville will rally in togetherness with the Ukrainian people. It will be at 3090 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.
Birding Event: On Saturday morning at Liberty Park, you can learn more about the birds in the area. From 10 a.m. to noon, there will be a professional to guide you about local birds for free.
Walking history tour: On Saturday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., go take a walk through downtown Clarksville with Journey’s Eye and learn about Clarksville history. The cost of the tour is $12, and it’s bound to be entertaining. T-shirts will also be available for $25.
Stand Ups’ Anonymous Presents “Clarksville Comedy Night”: Every Saturday Stand Ups’ Anonymous presents a different themed show of stand-up comedy content, with shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at Peppers Mercado inside of Vintage Corner. Tickets are $15 in person and $17.55 if you order ahead at Eventbrite.
