CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Whether you’re testing the luck of the Irish or getting your geek on this weekend, there’s something for you to enjoy.

Irish Day Celebration: On Saturday, get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with the 60th annual Irish Day Celebration in Erin, just southwest of Clarksville. The celebration will feature a pancake breakfast, a parade, costume competitions, a live concert, and several vendors. Prices vary depending on what you take part in.

Clarksville Comic-ConOn Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the ClarksvilleCon is back at the Quality Inn, Exit 4, for all of your pop culture cravings. There will be several artists, vendors, and collectors there. Tickets are $20, and free for kids 11 and under.

Angels In AmericaOn Friday at 8 p.m. and Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. at the Roxy Regional Theatre, you can see Tony Kushner’s renowned play, “Angels in America.” It’s about a gay man who is navigating the AIDS epidemic in the ’80s. Tickets are $30 for adults, and $15 for kids 10 and under.

Battle of the Axes: On Saturday at The Axe Throwing Place, come out to the second annual Battle of the Axes tournament. You can win cash prizes, participation is $50. This axe-throwing competition is hatchet only. Check-in will be at 5 p.m.
