CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It must be Christmas season. When else can you pick from a German Market, The Nutcracker, Christmas Vacation and a Candy Cane gala?

German Christmas Market: Homemade crafts, woodwork, baked goods, delicious food, live music, and more return to Christ Lutheran Church, 2425 Kirkwood Road, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9. Free admission.

The Nutcracker: The Gateway Chamber Orchestra presents The Nutcracker, showcasing a blend of musical styles at Mabry Concert Hall at Austin Peay State University. Shows are 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9; and 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10. Tickets are $22-$40 with various discounts.

National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation: The “Planters Bank Presents” Film Series at the Roxy Regional Theatre continues at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10
Tickets are $5.

Cocktails and Candy Canes: This benefit for the Clarksville Ajax Turner 50+Center will include dinner, a magician, a live band (Top Tiers), dancing and a live auction.
