CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Thisis Memorial Day weekend, and there will be plenty of fun in the sun to kick off your summer.
Spring into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell: On Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and on Sunday from noon to 6 p.m., there will be a slew of activities for everyone to enjoy at 101 Walter Garrett Lane in Oak Grove. LANCO will be headlining, with a day full of entertainment on all three of their stages.
Queen City Road Race: Come down to Liberty Park on Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Runners can participate in 10k, 5k and 1-mile races. To register click here.
Memorial Day Grave Commemoration: On Saturday, May 29, honor our veterans by placing flags on their graves for Memorial Day. For the fourth year, Women Veterans of America Chapter 47 has sponsored the Edgefield Missionary Baptist Church and the Foston Cemetery at 503 Thompkins Lane. They will meet at 9 a.m. at the church. Remember to wear comfortable shoes, long pants and bring bug repellent if needed.
Music and Food Trucks at Beachaven: On Saturday, Beachaven Vineyards & Winery will be holding more music and food trucks from 1 to 4 p.m. Tiffany Turner will be playing, and Gray Smoke Barbecue will be selling food at their food truck. On Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m., Rob Harris will be playing with food from Tater Headz.
Dinner with the Trucks: Come out and celebrate Clarksville Food Trucks’ first anniversary with some of the food trucks that helped start Dinner With The Trucks in the parking lot of the Electric Cowboy. It’ll be from 4 to 8 p.m. this Friday.
City of Clarksville Pools and Splashpads: With Memorial Day weekend comes the reopening of pools across Clarksville. For information on pool locations and events click here.
Clarksville Downtown Market: Another week of the downtown market in the Public Square from 8 a.m. to noon. Come enjoy some of the local wares.
