CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – This weekend boogie down at sundown with live Motown music, celebrate local heritage, explore all things odd and curious, and watch drag racing thrills all while enjoying the season of Summer.

Downtown @ Sundown: Head out to Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St. on Friday, June 7 at 7 p.m. to sing and dance to all your favorite Motown music live with Motor City

Clarksville Oddities and Curiosities Market: Explore a diverse collection of unusual items from local vendors, including taxidermy, medical artifacts, creepy art, and mystical oddities. The event begins on Sunday, June 9 from 11-7 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, 8 Champions Way. It is free and open to the public.

Summer Fest at Clarksville Speedway: A car show plus drag racing, drifting and donut pit with live music and food vendors. The fun begins on Sunday, June 9 at 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Clarksville Speedway, 1600 Needmore Road. $20 admission, 5 and younger free. Additional pricing for contests.

Montgomery County Heritage Day: Reenactors will portray several people from the county’s past including Civil War soldiers, civilians, and spies. The day begins on Friday, June 7 at 10 a.m. at 4711 Weakley Road. $14 per adult, $8 per child ages 3-12, children under 3 free with a paying adult.
