Downtown @ Sundown: A free concert series, this Friday, featuring Rubik’s Groove, at the Downtown Commons. Bring chairs and blankets; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping or outside alcohol are not allowed. Food and beverage trucks will be on site. The event starts at 7 p.m., at 215 Legion Street.
Historic Collinsville Montgomery County Heritage Day: Join the Historic Collinsville Pioneer Settlement in rural Montgomery County Saturday Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The event includes 19th century demonstrations of historic skills and crafts along with reenactors portraying life in the 1800s. Cost for the event is $10 for ages 13 and up, $5 for ages 6-12, and free for anyone under the age of six. Historic Collinsville is located at 4711 Weakley Road, Southside.
Brews for the Brave: The Fort Campbell Steel Mags are hosting the sixth annual Brews for the Brave on Sunday Aug. 20, to benefit the Green Beret Foundation. The event will be at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center at Liberty Park, and will feature local brews, wine, heavy appetizers, live music and a silent auction. Brews for the Brave will run from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Hummingbird Festival: The Hummingbird Festival, Featuring Plants and Pollinators will include hummingbird banding demonstrations, a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, pollinator garden tours and more. Food trucks on site. The event is free, at Rotary Park, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m on Saturday, Aug. 19.
Women of Clarksville Expo: Shop, eat and learn something new on everything from clothing and cooking to health screenings. The Women of Clarksville Expo is a free event at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center, starting at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19.
