CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It’s a perfect weekend for outdoor fun, with Downtown @ Sundown, the Butterfly Festival and the Downtown Market.

Downtown @ Sundown: Concert series, this Friday the free concert series at the Downtown Commons, 215 Legion St., features Ashley Cooke and Kylie Morgan. The concert is Friday, Sept. 1, from 7-9 p.m. Chairs and blankets are welcome; however, pets, coolers, smoking/vaping or outside alcohol are not allowed. Food and beverage trucks will be on site.

Butterfly FestivalThe Butterfly Festival makes its return to Oak Grove this weekend Saturday, Sept. 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 101 Walter Garrett Lane. The free event features the “Wild World of Animals,” the Bubble Zone, craft stations, train ride, zipline, a Butterfly House and the live release of 2,000 butterflies.

Clarksville Downtown Market: The weekly open-air market features farmers and artisans who offer locally grown fresh produce, food items and handcrafted products. Plus, live music and special events. It’s all at 1 Public Square on Saturdays, 8 a.m. to noon.
