CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – There’s a mix of offerings this weekend, ranging from craft beer at a basketball game to hiking Rotary Park by lantern light.

Austin Peay Basketball Craft Beer Night: Enjoy Clarksville’s best craft beer plus admission to the APSU-Eastern Kentucky game and a souvenir tasting glass. The event will be at APSU’s Dunn Center, 320 Drane St., from 1-3 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15-$25 (season ticket holders $15).

Clarksville Power of Words Brunch: Clarksville’s Power of Words is back celebrating one year with an open-mic event featuring poetry and singing. Immediately following open mic will be an Artist Panel hosted by Nashville artist Trisha Alicia. It’s all at Good People Lounge, 1018 Franklin St., from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15, $20 to include lunch.

Lantern Hike: Meet at the Nature Center at Rotary Park, 2308 Rotary Park Drive, to check in for the hike, and to distribute lanterns. The trail difficulty level is rated moderate. Afterward, stick around for a cup of hot cocoa. The hike is 5-6 p.m. Friday. It’s free, but registration is required online.

Tomás and the Library Lady: Opening night is Saturday at the Roxy Regional Theatre, 100 Franklin St. Tomás, the son of migrant farm workers, meets a librarian who introduces him to the wonderful world of books. The stories enrich the lives of Tomás’ family and instill a love of reading. Performances continue Jan. 21-Feb. 4 at 2 p.m. Saturdays; 7 p.m. Thursdays; and 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets are $30 (adults) and $15 (10 and under).
