CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – This weekend, Clarksville has several events to help locals get in the holiday spirit.
Drive-thru Live Nativity
Grace Church of the Nazarene, 3135 Trenton Road, will host a live, drive-thru nativity scene Friday and Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday, 5-8 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
A 19th Century Christmas
Fort Defiance invites guests to step back through time this Saturday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. to enjoy tree decorations, eggnog, treats, caroling, a 19th century Santa Claus and more. This event requires pre-registration and costs $3. Tickets can be purchased at secure.rec1.com/TN/clarksville-tn/catalog.
Christmas on the Cumberland
The City of Clarksville’s annual Christmas light display is currently available at the Riverwalk.
Christmas on the Cumberland features dozens of light displays, including some new installations, spanning over half a mile of Clarksville’s Riverwalk. It will be open until Jan. 6.
Crunch Fitness Grand Opening
This Sunday, Dec. 13, Crunch fitness is holding a grand opening celebration at their new Fort Campbell location from 5-7 p.m. All your favorite voices from Q108, Z97.5 and The Beaver will be in attendance as well.
Holiday Market
Clarksville’s Downtown Commons will host its first-ever Holiday Market on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m-2 p.m.
Fight Night at O’Connor’s
This Saturday, Deiveson Figueiredo defends his belt against Brandon Moreno in the UFC 256 main event. Catch the whole event at O’Connor’s Irish Pub & Grill at 8 p.m.
Christmas Light Run
This Saturday, Parks and Recreation is holding their 2nd annual Christmas on the Cumberland Light Run 5K event. Runners can choose to run 1 mile ($15) or the 5K ($25), and will receive a bib and t-shirt.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the purchase of new lights for next year’s Christmas on the Cumberland.
Movies at the Roxy
The Roxy Regional Theatre continues their annual film series continues with showings of “The Polar Express,” Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 3:45 p.m. Tickets are $5, and guests will be required to where face coverings.
