Live Music at Beachaven: Nashville singer/songwriter Chris Carpenter will be performing live inside Beachaven Winery this Saturday, January 4, from 2-5 p.m. Chris has been part of the Nashville Music Scene for 10 years, and his songs appear in T.V. shows such as “The Young and the Restless” and “Men of a Certain Age.” This performance is free to attend.
Movies at the Library: Saturday at 2 p.m, the Public Library invites families to enjoy a free showing of Laika Studio’s “Kubo and the Two Strings.” The library will also be showing “Toy Story 4” on Sunday, January 5, at 2 p.m. Popcorn will be provided.
Pet Adoption Event: Puurrfect Paws Rescue will be at Pet Supplies Plus (920 TN 760) this Saturday, January 4, from 4-6:30 p.m. with several cats and kittens in need of good homes. All pets in the event are fixed and fully vetted.
Rossview Girls Wrestling Takeover: Rossview Hawks Wrestling will host its first all girl high school wrestling tournament at Rossview High School this Saturday, January 4, beginning at 9 a.m. Cost of attendance is $10 for adults (children under 10 are free).
Live at Old Glory: Old Glory continues to ring in the New Year at their Craft Cocktail Bar with a live performance by Nashville Country Artist Krystal King beginning from 6-10 p.m.
Cruise to Nashville Cars & Coffee: Nashville Cars and Coffee, along with Clarksville Gearheads, will be meeting at the McDonalds on Exit 11 at 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 4. They will be leaving for 633 Frazier Lane Franklin, Tenn, at 6:45 a.m. Classic car lovers are invited to bring their classic rides and join in on the trip.
Sensory Story Time at the Library: The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will be a holding a special story time for children on the spectrum or that have sensory sensitivity on Saturday, January 4, from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Ice Skating & Human Trafficking Awareness: Saturday, January 4, End Slavery Tennessee is kicking off human trafficking awareness month with an Ice Skating Fundraiser at the Downtown Commons. All proceeds will go to support survivors living in safehouses sponsored by End Slavery Tennessee.
