Christmas Light Run: This holiday season, Clarksville Parks & Recreation invites locals to participate in a new tradition with the Christmas Light Run. Experience the dazzling lights in a whole new way on Saturday, December 14, from 4-6 p.m. at McGregor Park.
Bowling with the Grinch: Hooper Bowling Center and Fort Campbell MWR are celebrating the Grinch’s 53rd birthday with .53 cent games for children 10 and under on Saturday, December 14.
A 19th Century Christmas: Clarksville Parks and Recreation are hosting a 19th Century Christmas Party at 120 Duncan St on Saturday, December 14, from 3-6:30 p.m. Visitors will enjoy arts and crafts, eggnog, pastries, caroling and visits with Santa. This event is $3 to attend and guests can register online through Facebook
Gov’s v Montana: The Gov’s are preparing to take on the Bobcats tonight at Montana State as they continue their march for the FCS title. Fans in Clarksville can catch the game on ESPN Clarksville online or at 104.1 FM. Several watch parties are going on around town as well, including downtown at Strawberry Alley Ale Works and Buffalo Wild Wings. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Christmas in Occupied Clarksville: The Friends of Fort Defiance will be hosting a Christmas Celebration at the base on Saturday, December 14, from 3-4:30 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m. Santa will read ‘The Night Before Christmas.’ Guests can can make their own Christmas ornaments, enjoy period refreshments, parlor games, re-enactors and more. Tickets are $3 and can be purchased online through Facebook.
Clarksville Gear Heads Toys for Tots Cruise In: Clarksville Gear Heads will be at Governor’s Square Mall on Saturday, December 14 from noon-3 p.m. for their Cars and Coffee event. Guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy as a donation. Donors will be entered into a prize drawing.
Sensory Friendly Santa at the Mall: Governor’s Square Mall invites children with disabilities and their families to join them for a special visit with Santa Claus on December 15 at 10 a.m. Whereas, for many families, the noise and long lines of the mall can be difficult, this event hopes to ensure all kids have the time and space they need to enjoy their visit with Jolly Old Saint Nick.
Live Nativity at Grace Nazarene: Grace Nazarene Church invites the community to enjoy their live nativity scene between December 13 and 15. Friday and Saturday evening, there will be a ride-thru experience from 6-9 p.m. Guests can park at the church and board a wagon to enjoy a narrated ride around the nativity story followed by music, cookies and hot chocolate.
Wreaths Across America: Saturday, December 14, at 11 a.m, Fort Campbell will host a Wreathes Across America ceremony at 101st Airborne Division Headquarters. Wreathes representing the five services, as well as one for POW/MIA, will be hung at Division Headquarters, along with another 101 at T.C. Freeman Gate to honor the United State’s fallen service members.
Christmas Petting Zoo: Hilldale United Methodist Church is hosting a live nativity and petting zoo on Sunday, December 15, from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Movies at the Library: This Sunday, December 15, Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library invites families to join them for a free showing of Jim Carrey’s ‘The Grinch.” Admission is free and popcorn will be provided.
