Wags & Wings: Wags & Wings Family Fun & Oktoberfest returns to Clarksville Regional Airport September 28 and 29. This family and pet friendly event includes games and activities, sky diving demonstrations, helicopter rides, a dog talent show as well as German food and beer from Bavarian Bierhaus.
Copper & Choppers: This free, family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, October 28 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Governor’s Square Parking Lot. The ride begins at 10:35 a.m, at which time riders will make their way to the Clarksville Regional Airport for Wags & Wings.
Fine Fettle: The Food Initiative will host its sixth annual Fine Fettle on Saturday, September 28 at Old Glory Distilling Co at 6:30 p.m. Nine chefs from Nashville and Clarksville will come together to create a one-of-a-kind farm to table experience for guests.
Dunbar Cave – 1865: Dunbar Cave State Park invites guests to join them at the cave entrance for an afternoon of music, dancing and exploration of the cave on Saturday, September 28, from 6-8 p.m. Guests will enjoy 19th century music, dancing and a special candlelight tour of the Dunbar Cave interior.
Oktoberfest at Strawberry Alley: Strawberry Alley will hold its own Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 28, from 2:30-8 p.m. The event will include activities like jenga, cornhole, a dog costume contest, and, of course, plenty of German food and beer. Guests are encouraged to wear traditional German attire.
Oak Grove Tourism Butterfly Festival: Over 14,000 butterflies will take flight at Oak Grove Tourism’s 11th annual Butterfly Festival. The event will be held on the grounds of Valor Hall at the War Memorial Walking Trail, Saturday, September 28, at 11:00 a.m.
Queen City Fitness Expo: This local, physical fitness event returns for its second year with over 60 vendors, including local gyms and health shops, as well as 15+ events like Zumba Jam Sessions and a posing contest. Tried-N-True Wrestling will also be in attendance. The Expo will be held at Kenwood High School on Saturday, September from 12-6 p.m.
Appleton Open House: Appleton Harley-Davidson is hosting its Fall Open House on Saturday, September 28, from 9-5 p.m. The event will include free live music, over $1,000 in giveaways, good food and discounts on licensed products from their summer line.
