Montgomery County Fair:

The Montgomery County Fair will return to Clarksville Speedway on Needmore Rd. June 18 through the 22. The event will feature rides, carnival food, and a petting zoo, and a monster truck event. The international rodeo will take place the night of the fair on Friday and Saturday.

Western Kentucky State Fair:

Along with classic rides and food, The Western Kentucky State Fair will feature nightly events including a Demo Derby, Ranch Rodeo, UCW Wrestling, live music, and several tractor pulls. The fair will also feature the Miss Western Kentucky State Fair Pageant and will run from June 21-29. Information on both the Montgomery County, and Western Kentucky State Fairs can be found here.

Downtown @ Sundown – Avalon:

Downtown at Sundown is being held at the Downtown Commons every first and third Saturday of the month from 7 to 10 pm. This weekend’s music will be provided by Heart tribute band, Back to Avalon. The Downtown Commons encourages you to bring blankets and chairs, but ask that coolers and pets be left at home. Food vendors will be on site.

14th Annual Wilma Rudolph Road Race:

This year’s race will begin at Sango United Methodist Church beginning on June 22 at 7am. There will be a 5k race and a 10k with 3 age categories. Everyone that is registered will be eligible for door prizes. Registration closes on Saturday at 6:30.

The Brewery Comedy TOUR at Tennessee Valley

Tennessee Valley Brewing Company on Lowes Dr is the next stop on this tour featuring comedians from around the country. The brewery will offer local food as well as signature brews. Tickets are $12. The show will take place June 22 from 7:30 to 9:15 pm.

Downtown Market – Veggie Day:

Veggie Day is “dedicated to getting people to eat their veggies.” UT TSU’s Montgomery County Extension will be in attendance to demonstrate vegetable focused recipes and hand out samples.

Music at the Fort

The Marlin Rood Band will be performing 19-century music alongside civil war re-enactors at Ft Defiance On Saturday June 22 from 11 am till 3 pm this Saturday. The event is free, and Clarksville Parks and Recreation encourages you to bring blankets and a picnic.

Father’s Day Car Show

The Clarksville Gearhead Car Club will be at Fieldstone Place on June 22 from 2 pm to 4 pm celebrating Father’s Day with live music, food, and plenty of cars.

Goat Yoga with Parks and Rec.

Saturday, June 22, Clarksville Parks and Recreation will host yoga classes featuring certified instructors as well as trained goats. The event will take place at 124 Marie Dr from 9 – 10 am. There will be classes for all skill levels and children as young as 3 are welcome to participate.

Jazz on the Lawn:

This weekend’s Jazz on the Lawn will feature country artist Mark Cooke. Admission is free, and guests are welcome to bring blankets, chairs, and a picnic. Beachaven will offer free wine tastings beginning at 4, and music will start at 6:30.

Mad Herbalist’s Pop-up Beer Garden:

June 23, Kings Bluff Brewery will be at The Mad Herbalist on Madison St this weekend with artisan brats and their local beer selection. Tickets are $22 on Facebook or Eventbrite, and include “your choice of an artisan brat, unlimited house chips, unlimited iced tea.” Music for the event is provided by Moon Puppy and The June Bug beginning at 6:30
