Liberty Church will be collecting school supplies for donation on Friday from 7-10 p.m. Donations of pencils, pens, folders, crayons, scissors, glue, erasers, books, composition books, markers and more are needed to support local students.
Dog Days of Summer Parade
Dogwood Bend Assisted Living Facility invites local animal lovers to come show off their pets for the residents today at 1 p.m. There will be a pet costume contest judged by the patients, and each participant will receive a thank you goodie bag. This is an outdoor event, so make sure to come prepared.

Clarksville Gearheads Fall Swap Meet and Car Show
Clarksville Gear Heads will host their annual swap meet and car show Saturday, Sept. 5, from 8 a.m-5 p.m. Browse vendors, enjoy the food vendors and enjoy the classic cars, trucks and motorcycles. This event has a $5 spectator fee, a portion of which will go to support local charities.
