CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – It’s week seven for Clarksville area football teams. There are only a few weeks left in the regular season and a few weeks left to make a push for the postseason. Here are the matchups for week seven in Montgomery County.

Clarksville Now Game of the Week: Northeast Eagles (0-6) @ Kenwood Knights (0-5)

One of these teams will grab their first win of the season on Friday night. Both teams have had a tough early schedule and have been close several times but have yet to put one in the win column. It will come down to who can take better care of the football.

Thursday: West Creek (3-3) @ Stewarts Creek (5-1)

The Coyotes have a tall task ahead of them, facing a Stewarts Creek team whose only loss is to Blackman. West Creek will have to pull of a big upset to grab their fourth win of the season.

Friday: Clarksville Wildcats (6-0) @ Northwest Vikings (1-5)

It’s homecoming for Northwest, and they welcome in the undefeated Wildcats. The Viking defense will have to step up if they want to stop this high-powered Clarksville offense, who just put up 42 on Dickson County last week.

Columbia Academy (4-2) @ Clarksville Academy (1-4)

The Cougars welcome the Bulldogs to Clarksville Academy for a district matchup and an important game for playoff seeding. After a week off due to rain, the Cougars will have to knock the rust off quickly if they want to beat Columbia Academy.

Rossview Hawks (5-1) @ Dickson County (3-3)

It’s a huge matchup in Region 7-6A. Both teams sit with only one loss in the region, and are set to make a run for the top overall seed. Rossview’s stout defense must withstand the consistent rushing attack from the Cougars.

Liberty Creek (2-4) @ Kirkwood (5-1)

The Wolves travel to Exit 8 for a matchup with the Cobras, who are coming off a huge win against Rossview. With several region games coming up, the Cobras will look to take care of business in a non-region game.

Fairview (3-3) @ Montgomery Central (1-5)

After their huge win on homecoming last week, the Indians have another game on the hill. This time, they welcome the Yellowjackets from Fairview. Look for Clarksville Now Player of the Week Kanyon Conner to make plays if they want to pull out another home win.

Fort Campbell (2-3) @ Edmonson County (4-2)

The first region game for the Falcons comes at Edmonson County. The Falcons got a week off last week due to rain but are currently riding a two-game winning streak and looking to continue this momentum into regional play.
