CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – We have now reached week 10 of the 2024-25 high school football season, and there are several key matchups this week, as well as some old rivals meeting once again. Here are the matchups for Week 10:

Game of the Week: Clarksville High (8-0) @ Rossview High (7-1)

The Warfield Shield. No matter the team’s records or stakes, this game always means more. Clarksville High will look to lock up the region regular season championship, while Rossview High will look to end the Wildcat’s 18-game regular season winning streak and take over first place in the region standings.

Kenwood High (3-5) @ Kirkwood High (6-2)

Another region 7-6A matchup with playoff implications is Kirkwood High hosting the Kenwood Knights. Kenwood is coming into the game riding a three-game winning streak. The Knights will now look to continue their playoff push against the Cobras this Friday. Meanwhile, Kirkwood looks to respond after losing to Clarksville High in their last game and solidify their spot in the postseason.

Northwest High (1-7) @ Northeast High (0-8)

Make no mistake: while both teams have been eliminated from the postseason, this game means everything to these two squads. An old-school rivalry is renewed, with Northeast High looking for their first win of the year.

West Creek (4-4) @ Dickson County (3-5)

West Creek vs. Dickson County is the third game this week with playoff implications in region 7-6. With a loss, Dickson County is eliminated from playoff contention, so let’s see if the Coyotes can pull out the road victory. West Creek has won two consecutive region games against Northwest and Northeast High.

Owensboro Catholic (8-0) @ Fort Campbell (4-3)

Owensboro Catholic visits Fort Campbell to decide their region regular season champion on Friday, Oct. 25. The Falcons have already secured home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs but can secure it throughout the first two rounds with a win against the Aces.

Montgomery Central (1-7) @ Station Camp (3-5)

The Indians are now in desperation mode. Losing a game over the next two weeks eliminates them from playoff contention, and it all starts with Station Camp this Friday.

Clarksville Academy (1-6) @ Nashville Christian (7-1)

Clarksville Academy is set to travel to the top seeded Nashville Christian School, as the Cougars look for their first win of the season in the division II-A middle district. We’ll see if Clarksville Academy can pull off the upset and create some chaos in the playoff standings.
