CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Residents should secure outdoor items and holiday decorations tonight, as wind gusts up to 30 mph are expected overnight in Clarksville.

Starting at about 9 p.m., gusts of 25-30 mph are expected locally, according to the National Weather Service afternoon forecast. This is much less than what’s expected southeast of Nashville, where Tullahoma could see winds up to 45 mph.

There will be more rain coming to Montgomery County – from 1.5 to 2 inches total by the end of Tuesday.

Thanksgiving Day should be sunny and cool, with a high near 55.
