At 4:52 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Clarksville to near Springfield to Old Hickory. Movement was north at 30 mph.

Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of eastern Montgomery, Davidson, northeastern Dickson, western Sumner, Cheatham and Robertson counties through 5 p.m., according to an alert from the National Weather Service.
At 4:19 p.m., Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles north of Dickson to near Oak Hill. Movement was north at 30 mph.
Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
